PHILABUNDANCE WAS FOUNDED IN 1984 WITH THE SIMPLE BELIEF THAT NO ONE SHOULD GO HUNGRY WHILE HEALTHY FOOD GOES TO WASTE. OUR MISSION IS TO DRIVE HUNGER FROM OUR COMMUNITIES TODAY AND TO END HUNGER FOR GOOD. We have a commitment to always serving our neighbors in need with dignity and respect, and take pride in our efforts to understand the wants and needs of our communities. This work wouldn't be possible without a large network of supporters and partners who help us in fulfilling our mission.

To fulfill its mission to relieve hunger now, PHLB distributes food to more than 350 hunger relief agencies throughout a 9-COUNTY service area covering southeastern pennsylvania and southern new jersey.
