Justice dance performance project (jdpp) is an arts non-profit that harnesses creative expression as a catalyst for positive change. Jdpp uses dance theater performance and multi-arts engagement to examine social issues, build bridges of understanding across diverse communities, and inspire both individual growth and collective action. Participants in jdpp's programs discover untapped resources as they grow and heal, opening new and productive channels in the present and for the future.

Bridging boundaries arts intervention helps incarcerated individuals and their families reconnect and reenergize relatonship through the arts. Teaching artists lead participants in multi-arts activities encouraging individual growth and community building. Since 2005, JDPP has offered performance, moms & kids and I. A.M.

The JDPP ensemble of professional dance, spoken word, and music artists explore social justice issues of our time such as gender, race, oppression, immigration, and mass incarceration through innovative and moving DANCE/THEATER performances.

Since 1995 the moving matters multi-arts residency has brought movement, dance, narrative, and song into hartford public schools as a catalyst for academic achievement and personal growth. Moving matters began as an outreach to 5TH graders at parkville community school and grew to involve the entire school.
