Shambhala Mountain Center is a contemplative retreat center in the foothills of Northern Colorado founded almost 50 years ago. In 2020 COVID restrictions caused almost all of the programming to be canceled and the Cameron Peak wildfire swept the land causing substantial damage.

Mangala Shri Bhuti is a Buddhist meditation retreat center located in Crestone, Colorado. The Center has been doing extensive building to provide retreat space and facilities for Buddhist practitioners to meet, receive teachings, and participate in religious ceremonies.
