Career Awareness

Cewd and its members engaged in a wide variety of career awareness activities in 2021. Career awareness activities are aimed at five key demographics: youth, low income students, women, veterans, and transitioning workers.

Member Value and Support

Cewd continued to support information needs of the industry's workforce development leaders with offerings including a new workforce planning paper and publication of the 2021 gaps in the energy workforce report. Cewd provided support to individual member companies as well as existing and new state energy workforce consortia.

Education Development

Cewd education solutions for secondary and post-secondary institutions have been implemented across the country in 2021 including the get into energy test prep, energy industry fundamentals, energy career education pathways and frameworks for the 17TH energy career clusters at the state level.
