For 23 years, Teach Kentucky has recruited college graduates possessing strong academic credentials and subject content knowledge to launch their education careers in the louisville, KY region. New recruits begin a masters of arts in teaching at a local university while earning a full-time salary in the classroom as a teacher of record. Many of our teachers work in high poverty schools, where the need for talented educations is the greatest. Teach Kentucky is not only committed to recruiting bright young minds to the education profession, but to retaining them in IT. Its program provides additional professional development of first and second year teachers, and a mentoring program run by retired educators and administrators.

Teach kentucky recruits individuals to launch their education careers in louisville, kentucky. It leverages financial incentives acquired through its strategic fundraising efforts to attract recent college graduates from across the nation.

Teach kentucky provides a six-week teacher preparation program that complements graduate school courses in order to better equip its new recruits for the classroom and increase retention of its recruits in the profession long-term. This program is run by veteran educators who are alumni of the teach kentucky program.
