Medical Care Program

Our commitment to helping children who would otherwise go without healthcare remained strong in 2020, changing lives in China, India, Cambodia and Uganda. We provided 778 medical procedures, including 125 cleft operations and 40 life-saving heart surgeries.

Healing Homes Program-

LWB's Healing Home program serves children who are orphaned or abandoned. Most are malnourished, sick, or in need of urgent medical attention when found. This year, 86 vulnerable children stayed in our homes, and each one received the essential, life-affirming message that they are precious and worthy of love.

Nutrition and Special Projects

- In 2020, our hot lunch program in Cambodia, located in two villages with high rates of chronic malnutrition, served 97,000 meals to LWB students. School gardens on both campuses helped provide a variety of healthy vegetables as well.
