Iris's mission is to help refugees, asylees, asylum seekers, and other displaced people establish new lives, regain hope, and contribute to the vitality of connecticut's communities. In 2021, iris welcomed 525 refugees and other immigrants and assisted over 3,400 others who had arrived in previous years.
