Als united rhode island reached more than 300 patients and patients families through information and referrals, home visits, support groups as well as providing equipment loans, handicapped transportion and respite care at no cost to the patient.

There are numerous programs that support professional and public awareness outreach. Als awareness day is held annually at the rhode island state house during may. While this program is attended by our constituents, there is also a greater outreach to any members of the general public that are at the state house on that day.
