Uncornered's mission is to unlock the potential of core influencers - active and former gang-involved individuals- as a means to change communities and build peaceful, thriving cities. Uncornered utilizes an innovative approach to transform urban communities into violence-free zones by using the power of core influencers to unlock the potential of individuals and cities. Core influencers are both active and former gang-involved leaders who have the proximity and credibility to impact violence in their communities. The Uncornered vision is to end community violence and tap into the power and possibility of under-resourced neighborhoods in cities.
