The mission of Stamps for the Wounded (SFTW) is to support US service members and veterans, especially those who are wounded, ill, isolated, or lonely by providing them with a useful activity: collecting, or working with postage stamps. SFTW provides collectible postage stamps, covers, albums, and supplies to veterans who wish to start, or continue collecting stamps, or using them for art projects.

Veterans Stamp Program

SFTW provided philatelic materials, including stamps, covers, reference literature, collecting supplies and related items to over 150 veterans located throughout the United States. Veterans were encouraged to use the materials for their own stamp collections, or art projects.
