Stewardship

RRCT conducts annual on-site monitoring of all conservation easements, and exexcutes stewardship plans, projects, and protocols on trail easements and fee ownership. RRCT stewardship policies and protocols are guided by the land trust alliance and maine law.

Education & Outreach

Despite the pandemic, RRCT continues free weekly programming, free monthly nature walks, educational newsletters, and various additional free public events.

Land Conservation

In 2020 RRCT successfully acquired new fee simple conservation land at memak preserve, intervale preserve, and thurston meadows. In 2020 RRCT planned and campaigned for acquisitions to be completed in future years.
