Dr. Stephen M.
Prescott, MD, served as President of the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation from 2006 until his passing in 2021. He held a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and previously founded the Eccles Program at University of Utah and led the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
Under his leadership, OMRF discovered three drugs now used worldwide to treat sickle cell disease and rare blood disorders.
