Neil M. Bressler is Chief of the Retina Division at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and holds the endowed James P.
Gills Professorship of Ophthalmology. He joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 1988 as assistant professor, was promoted to associate professor in 1991, and to full professor in 1997.
Dr. Bressler is the Editor-in-Chief of JAMA Ophthalmology since July 2013 and the 21st President of the Macula Society, with over 485 peer-reviewed publications focused on clinical trials and AI research in retinal diseases.
