This position is based within Jefferson Regional Facilities Department Job Summary: The Carpenter is responsible for performing a variety of skills carpentry tasks to maintain, repair, and improve hospital facilities. This role ensures that all carpentry work complies with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards specific to a healthcare environment. Carpenter Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a carpentry apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.

This is a safety sensitive position. * Minimum requirements : Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment Strong knowledge of building materials, techniques, and safety practices Ability to read blue prints, technical drawings, and schematics Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail Minimum 1 year of carpentry experience Preferred requirements : Minimum 3-5 years of carpentry experience, preferably in a commercial or healthcare settings Understand of healthcare regulations and standards, such as OSHA, Joint Commission, and other relevant bodies Benefits & Perks: your health and happiness matters!
