Personal Care Worker

Positions available throughout Dane County, but currently seeking workers in the Cross Plains area.

Provides personal care tasks including but not limited to: Bathing (including oral hygiene, and washing hair) Dressing Transfers (including assistance with ambulating) Toileting (including bowel, catheter and bladder care) Exercises (including range of motion) Meal preparation and feeding (including cooking specialized meals, cutting food into bite-sized chunks, g-tube feeding and care) Provides light housekeeping and chore services including but not limited to: Washing dishes/cleaning countertops after cooking/meal prep/feeding Cleaning bathroom after shower/bathing Laundry Communicating with key customers and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Experience: One year favorable continuous employment with the same employer in the last two years Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to undergo a criminal background check and meet the requirements for hiring Knowledge of: Functionality and understanding of medical equipment and supplies Medical terminology Community-based long-term care Personal cares Skills: Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills Ability to prioritize and work under pressure Conflict resolution Interpersonal skills Cell phone and voicemail Abilities: Available to work weekdays and alternate weekends Ability to lift 50 pounds without restrictions Ability to complete necessary documentation thoroughly and correctly For more information, a complete job description and to apply please visit our website: www.clanet.org/
