Position Overview

The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Nursing Programs serves as a member of the School of Nursing leadership team. Reporting to the Dean and working in close collaboration with the Associate Dean of Nursing Programs and the Associate Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, this position provides leadership and oversight for the development, implementation, and evaluation of innovative, high-quality undergraduate academic programs within the School of Nursing.

The Associate Dean of Undergraduate Nursing Programs supports the advancement of academic excellence by guiding faculty and professional staff in the development of initiatives and academic activities that promote student success, support the achievement of expected program outcomes, and align with the Endicott College mission of providing meaningful experiential learning opportunities. An academic appointment, if applicable, will be determined separately in accordance with the College’s academic appointment process. Key Responsibilities

Ensure a high-quality undergraduate curriculum with exceptional program outcomes, supported by meaningful, innovative, and experiential teaching strategies that align with the mission of the School of Nursing and the College. (25%) Monitor NCLEX pass rates at or above the School of Nursing’s expected level of achievement, while meeting accreditation benchmarks and state and national pass rate expectations. Support licensure success through the oversight, implementation, and effective use of student success and assessment resources, including ATI. Collaborate with undergraduate Program Chairs to identify curricular needs related to adjunct, laboratory, simulation, and clinical faculty.

Assist with the vetting, appointment, orientation, and mentoring of faculty members while fostering a culture of inclusivity, collegiality, and community within the School of Nursing.
