Position Information Title: Adjunct Faculty, Interior Design College: College of Business, Innovation, and Technology Exempt Part time Position Summary The responsibilities of this position comprise of teaching assigned courses in Interior Design and related fields. As an Adjunct Faculty member, the post holder is expected to perform all duties professionally, is expected to remain current in the discipline and pedagogy and ethically support the policies and mission of the University.

Reports to Direct Report to: Dean of the College of Business, Innovation, and Technology Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teach selected courses in Interior Design Provide feedback and assessment of student performance Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment Demonstrate ongoing professional competency by seeking new knowledge, improving teaching skills, and remaining current in the academic discipline. Attend departmental meetings and participate in faculty development activities as required Support policies as stated in the Chaminade Handbook and in course syllabi.

The Adjunct instructor will deliver student-focused, active-learning instruction and conduct assessments of student, program, and course learning outcomes. Other duties as assigned by the Dean, within the scope of the Faculty handbook. Disclaimer This list of responsibilities is not exhaustive. Education and Experience Minimum Terminal Degree ( Master's degree) in Interior Design, Architecture and Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field. Preferred Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education for at least one (1) year; Demonstrated teaching excellence in Interior Design or related fields. Hold NCIDQ certification Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body at all levels of the university Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, learning management systems (e.g.
