Position Summary
Under the direction of the department leadership, prepares quality biological blood components within the prescribed time following regulatory and operational standards as specified in the Standard Operating Procedures and departmental procedures. Total Rewards Package Compensation The target salary is based on internal averages. Versiti sets salary ranges aligned to local markets in which the job is performed. Compensation decisions take into account internal salary averages and differentiation based on education, experience, skills, and performance. Specific salary and benefits information is shared at the time of the phone screening based on your location and qualifications.

WHEN YOU WILL WORK: Standard Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM Participates in a rotational on-call schedule, including coverage before and after regular hours, weekends, and holidays, as needed Shift differentials: Evenings (after 6:00PM) - $1.50/hr; Weekends - $2.00/hr Responsibilities Follows procedures pertaining to the proper storage of RBCs, platelet products and frozen products Provides excellent customer service by communicating with hospital representatives regarding orders, addressing inquiries, and assisting with order-related needs to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment Receives, reviews, and processes incoming blood product and pharmacy orders, enduring accuracy and timely fulfillment Picks, packs, and prepares blood products and pharmacy orders for shipment and distibution in accordance with established procedures Delivers blood products and pharmacy orders to hospitals and other designated locations, ensuring safe handling and timely delivery Performs and documents equipment function checks and QC…
