Overview
This position is focused on grant-funded diabetes work for the Rising T1DE Alliance (RTA), a collective of like-minded organizations committed to revolutionizing type 1 diabetes care through data-driven, patient-centered care. Children’s Mercy was the founder of RTA and is still the home for technical and data efforts. This role will help lead the continued technical development of the Diabetes Data Dock, a diabetes-tailored data intelligence platform. The Diabetes Data Dock is built in Microsoft Azure and Databricks and serves as the technical foundation of RTA work which includes prediction of clinical outcomes and ingestion and monitoring of patient generated health data.
This is an intermittent remote position, which means that the person hired will work with his or her manager to determine a schedule that includes both at home and on-site hours at a Children’s Mercy location.
