The org's own posting, as writtenMay be eligible for a $2,500.00 sign-on bonus About the Position: As a Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for patients You will be responsible for managing medication therapy, providing expert clinical advice, and supporting patient health outcomes through comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication regimens and prevent adverse drug interactions. You will also engage in patient counseling to educate individuals on proper medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance strategies.
Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to improving patient safety, enhancing therapeutic outcomes, and supporting public health initiatives such as immunization programs. What we are looking for: Education and Experience: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Registered Pharmacist with current Minnesota license. Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and clinical pharmacy practices. Experience with retail pharmacy operations and pharmacy benefit management systems. Excellent communication skills for effective patient counseling and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Riverwood Healthcare Center is an independent, fully integrated health system with three primary care clinics (located in Aitkin, McGregor and Garrison) and a highly acclaimed critical access hospital. We are proud of partnerships that enable us to provide an incredible range of comprehensive specialty services, keeping our patients close to home. Start and end times follow hours of operation at the retail site, every other weekend rotation required. FTE:0.75 (60 hours per pay period)
