The org's own posting, as writtenRadiologic Technologist - X-Ray We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our team. General duties include operating radiographic equipment to consistently obtain and produce optimal, high-quality images for diagnostic imaging studies. The Radiologic Technologist approaches their tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Adheres to the spirit of the SALUD mission statement while performing assigned duties. We offer: $25 to $32.50 per hr.

Works closely with the Medical Radiology Safety Officer to ensure the procedures are followed.
Specific Duties: Produces diagnostic images using medical radiographic equipment so that medical providers can properly diagnose and treat diseases and injuries Maintains professionalism and understands limitations of their scope and the need for ongoing discretion by not disclosing any information or reacting to what they are seeing on the image(s), making a diagnosis, sharing any personal impressions, or sharing any diagnostic information with a patient Explains procedure to patients and refers them back to their medical provider for diagnosis/exam results Positions patients properly to obtain quality images and, if warranted, covers patients with lead shields to protect body parts from unnecessary radiation exposure Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Dental Providers, Behavioral Health Providers, and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated health care Acts as a patient advocate for our vulnerable…
