They oversee day-to-day operations across all accounting functions, including accounts payable, item processing, general ledger transactions, balancing, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, and analysis management.

The Accounting Manager collaborates with the Accounting team and other teams to ensure timelines and goals are achieved. Lead, Manage, and Accountability : Committed to leading and managing in a way that creates an environment in which accountable employees thrive, and non-accountable people choose to leave. Effectively uses the people analyzer to find the right people and the right seats. Team Collaboration: Collaborates with Accounting, Finance, and all other necessary teams in all discussions relevant to the management of the credit union’s short- and long-term goals and objectives and communicates such goals and objectives to credit union staff members.
Accounting Team Management: Manages the day-to-day accounting operations of the credit union, including accounts payable, general ledger transactions, balancing, item processing, and reconciliations. Responsible for managing the credit union’s reporting and analysis functions and preparing performance reports for Executive Management. Supports management in external audit processes. Continued Growth Support: Supports the Accounting team in assessment, reporting, coaching, training, accountability and improvement plan recommendations for the department and individuals as needed.
