Claim Your Profile
Your public profile. Your voice.
Claiming your profile is a one-time build of $3,000, followed by $500 a year, beginning the year after your profile publishes, to keep it current. You are not paying for software or a template. You are paying for experienced editors to tell your organization’s story where people are already researching you.
You’re not buying a page. You’re establishing your organization’s public voice on the same platform where people already research your IRS filing.
Every organization has one profile, and only the organization itself can claim it. Once claimed, it becomes the official claimed profile associated with your organization on Philanthropy.org. We verify every claimant before publication, so anyone reading it knows the profile represents the organization itself and not an outside contributor.
Beginning the year after your profile publishes, the annual fee keeps it live, current, and maintained by us rather than by you:
You never log into anything or manage a page. If something changes at your organization, you tell us, and we take care of it.
Most of this fee is people, not software. A member of our team interviews you, another writes and builds the profile, and our editorial team reviews it before it publishes. That is real work by real professionals, and it is the reason a claimed profile reads like something worth trusting rather than a form someone filled out.
Hiring a professional writer, editor, and designer to produce this independently would cost substantially more. Even then, you would still need to find a place people actually discover it. Your profile is not simply created. It is published exactly where people researching your organization are already looking.
Unlike most marketing expenses, this one is not consumed the moment it is paid for. Your profile remains online year after year while Philanthropy.org continues to grow in authority, visibility, and search presence. The earlier you claim it, the longer it has to accumulate that visibility, and the more it is working for you before anyone else in your field catches on.
Your IRS 990 page stays live either way. It keeps appearing in search results, accurate and intentionally neutral, with none of your context and no link to your side of the story. There is no fee for that, but there is a cost: every board member, major donor, advisor, and journalist who researches you sees only the filing and draws their own conclusions from it.
If you are ready, you can claim your profile now. If you would rather ask questions first, or talk through whether this makes sense for your organization, we are glad to have that conversation.
