Competitions and Research Prizes

Arc prize facilitated competitive research by awarding paper prizes to community members producing significant advances in ai benchmarking. These competitions encouraged innovative methods for evaluating general intelligence and generated peer-reviewed work that advances the scientific understanding of ai systems.

Public Model Testing and Reporting

Arc prize tested publicly available ai models against our benchmark tasks, publishing results and analyses for the research community and general public. This program provided transparent data on model performance, educated the public about the state of ai, and established baseline metrics for evaluating progress toward agi.

University Tour and Education Outreach

In 2024, arc prize hosted a nationwide university tour, visiting over 15 schools across the united states. Through lectures, workshops, and discussions, we educated thousands of students about the arc prize mission, our approach to measuring intelligence, and opportunities for participation in ai benchmarking research.
