Since its founding in 1985, Zyzzyva Inc. has been devoted to producing and publishing Zyzzyva, the premier print journal dedicated to publishing new works by the finest contemporary authors, artists, and translators on the West Coast and beyond.Zyzzyva brings national attention to the work of West Coast authors and artists, offering many of contemporary literatures most acclaimed voices their first time in print and their first access to a national audience. The journal is available by subscription and in bookstores and newsstands across the country. Our most important activities are the publication of the print journal and support for our authors and our community of readers via free events and online.
