The Community Pantry was established in 1998 for the purpose of providing food to the needy through various programs in the gallup and grants, new mexico areas. The organization receives donated food from other not-for- profit organizations, individuals and businesses. Some of the food is received through the organizations affiliation with feeding america. The food is distributed free or for a nominal charge to needy individuals and families or agencies who directly feed the needy.

Now in existence since 1999, the community pantry continues to strive to meet the monthly needs of over 3,000 members of mckinley and cibola county communities. With over half of the population living below poverty levels, the community pantry provides nutritional food for over 2000 families, over 700 children through our food for kids…
