The organization serves the greater savannah, ga region, and partners closely with nearyby county animal services in georgia as well as other municipal and nonprofit groups and is one of the largest foster-based animal rescue centers in the country.

The organization provides medical care for animals in need, primarily dogs. Medical care includes special surgical needs such as spay and neuter surgeries for animals in care and for community pets. Animals are treated for heartworms as well as receiving vaccines and microchips.

During the year, 49 animals were transported to rescue partners, 1,129 dogs received care at the center, and 1,166 families served as foster families which resulted in 95% of rescued animals in foster care. The organization held 4 weekly adoption events, serving 8 counties.
