To have a chinese language school inside the temple to teach youths their mother language, traditional chinese culture and values. The language school is also a place to provide after school activities for teenagers, to keep them from joining gangs, and to stay away from drugs and violence.

To have a community center inside the temle for chinese senior citizens, since most elderly do not speak english, they feel more comfortable staying with others who understand their needs and can help them. It is also a place for new immigrants, especially for older people to get assistance in coping with their new lives in the country.

To have a chinese temple for people to worship gods and their ancestors. It is also a place to perform religious ceremonies, and to celebrate chinese festivals. After the construction of temple was finished, more than 20,000 people visited in 2024, worshipping gods and making contributions and support to the temple.
