The DoorWay Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program employs a multi-level treatment approach to drug and alcohol recovery. It's an intensive, 7 to 13-month, Christ-centered program to help men overcome drug and alcohol addictions.

Education

Open Door Mission requires all men in the DoorWay Program to complete at least 5-10 hours of academic education each week of computer-based instruction to become computer literate and ready for additional educational, technical, or employment.

Open Door Mission's Respite and Recuperative Care Center could house up to 28 homeless men who had been released from Ben Taub and LBJ hospitals and needed extended convalescence following illnesses, surgery, or accidents, and had nowhere to go except back to the streets of Houston.
