Rapid rehousing provides rental assistance to qualified homeless families in scattered-site apartments. Rental assistance can be for 6, 9 or up to 12 months, depending on funding sources. In 2024 we had dallas county and hud funds. Once selected, we provide case management and wrap-around supportive services.

The green haus on the santa fe trail is our newest housing solution - located on 1 acre of land in old east dallas. Designed as mixed, emergency (90 day) transitional (12 months) and semi-permanent (18-24 months) housing, this community offers a total of 24 housing units to homeless women and children, as described above.

Prevention assistance provides short-term and temporary rental assistance to qualified homeless families and individuals who are living in apartments but have experienced either a decrease in their income due to loss of work hours, covid-related circumstances or some other type of crisis.
