FPF works closely with the florida press association to conduct a two day convention for the association members with programs designed to promote high standards of journalism. This convention offers knowledgeable speakers and presentations with information members can take home and use to make their newspaper and business better.

FPF offers a paid internship program. Newspapers can request a journalism intern for a 10 week stint. FPF also attends college workfairs in order to inform on our media industry and recruit journalism interns for our internship program.

FPF offers a community news fund for florida newspapers-there are currently 13 newspapers participating. Participating newspapers advertise in their individual papers for donations.
