The Anishinaabe Agricultural Institute AAI works for agro-diversity by restoring local food systems hemp production and usage and growing traditional heritage plant varieties. Machinery needed for hemp decortification and processing was acquired.

There were two related core Alliance programs that were busy but were spun off or concluded this fiscal year. Resilient Cities and Communities which worked to enhance resilience in 60 metro communities was spun off in the fall of 2020 as a new separate non-profit so as to enhance the voice participation and leadership of cities.
