Threads of Hope provided tailoring basic literacy health and womens empowerment education to 100 economically disadvantaged women in Afghanistan. Over a 10-month period participants learned basic literacy and numeracy vocational skills gained mental health support and took part in workshops on human rights domestic violence prevention…
