01

Continued hull preservation projects for this 1943-vintage submarine in order to maintain its status as the best restored and maintained vessel of its kind. Work was focused on vent riser repairs, deck installation and ventilation repair.

Held historical reenactments to honor USS Cods role in the rescue of a Dutch submarine in WWII, hosted several veterans service fairs to prevent suicide and promote wellbeing. Hosted a picnic for veterans housed in VA nursing homes.

Provided speakers to local libraries, schools, and community organizations to promote USS Cods history and general patriotism. Our YouTube channel provides weekly educational programming promoting the history of USS Cod.
