The TBLC organizes an annual conference which provides a venue for educators, scholars, and supporting faculty that have implemented or wish to implement team-based learning.

TBLC organizes regional workshops such as "team-based learning 101" that provide attendees with the resources and materials needed to implement team-based learning in the classrooms. Materials such as books, voting cards, small white boards, and various other useful items are provided to the attendees.

The TBLC is a membership organization in which members pay annual dues. All members in good standing have the right to vote, hold office, and serve on committees.
