Timothy F. Rub is an American museum director and art historian who served as the George D.
Widener Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia Museum of Art from 2009 to January 2022. During his 13-year tenure, he oversaw ambitious expansion and renovation projects including the $233 million Core Project designed by Frank Gehry.
