Dr. Steven J.
Fishman is Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and Surgeon-in-Chief and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital, holding the Stuart and Jane Weitzman Family Chair in Surgery. A pediatric surgeon specializing in vascular anomalies, he co-founded and co-directs the Vascular Anomalies Center, which evaluates approximately 1,700 patients annually.
He is past president of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies and has authored over 200 scientific publications and two books.
