Robert Spano is an internationally renowned conductor, pianist, and educator who served as Music Director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (housed at the Robert W. Woodruff Arts Center) for 22 years and is currently Music Director Laureate.
He has won six Grammy Awards and was named Conductor of the Year by Musical America in 2008. He currently leads the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Aspen Music Festival.
