Dr. Robert K.
McMahan is the 7th President and Professor of Physics at Kettering University, a position he has held since August 2011. An accomplished astrophysicist, he participated in research leading to major cosmological discoveries including the Great Attractor and the bubble-and-void structure of the universe.
He has published over 50 scientific papers and holds multiple patents. Prior to Kettering, he served as Founding Dean of Western Carolina University's College of Engineering and Technology.
