Robert Bluey is an American conservative blogger and journalist who served as Vice President of Communications at The Heritage Foundation from 2020–2024, playing a key role in shaping the organization's marketing, messaging, and media strategy. He is also the founding editor and currently President of The Daily Signal, Heritage's multimedia news organization, which launched in 2014.
Prior to joining Heritage in 2007, Bluey was a reporter and editor in Washington, D.C., notably at Cybercast News Service where he challenged the authenticity of documents used by CBS News in the "Rathergate" controversy. He graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor's degree in journalism and holds a Certificate in Management from Georgetown University.
