Dr. Jonathan B.
Perlin became the seventh President and Chief Executive Officer of The Joint Commission enterprise on March 1, 2022, overseeing the Joint Commission, Joint Commission International, and the National Quality Forum. Previously, as President of Clinical Operations and Chief Medical Officer at HCA Healthcare, he led clinicians and researchers in developing a learning health system across 189 hospitals.
He also served as Under Secretary of Veterans Affairs for Health from 2004 to 2006.
