Dr. John B.
Armitage is CEO of Our Blood Institute (formerly Oklahoma Blood Institute), the 6th largest U.S. collector of volunteer blood donations, serving since January 2007.
A board-certified physician trained in clinical pathology, he previously served as Executive Director/Vice President of the New York Blood Center's New Jersey Blood Services Division. An innovator in blood banking who has donated blood over 150 times and created the Thank the Donor and Blood Emergency Readiness Corps programs.
