Dr. Gerard Akaka, MD, is an internal medicine physician who served as Vice President of Native Hawaiian Affairs and Clinical Support at The Queen's Health Systems since 2002, retiring December 2024.
He previously worked at Waiʻanae Coast Comprehensive Health Center and directed the Queen Emma Clinic at Queen's Medical Center, where he trained many of Hawaii's primary care physicians. Recognized as ASTRO Fellow and recipient of O'o Awards.
