Dr. Gary Johnson is the Cofounder and Executive Director of E2 MINISTRIES INC (e2: effective elders), a nonprofit ministry focused on encouraging and equipping church elders.
He co-founded E2 in 2008 and transitioned to a full-time Executive Director role in 2019 after retiring from a 30-year tenure as senior minister at The Creek Church in Indianapolis. Johnson, who has served in preaching ministry for four decades, coaches pastors and elders nationwide and internationally, and is the author of "Leader><Shift." He holds a Master of Arts in Church History, Master of Ministry, Divinity degrees, and a Doctor of Ministry degree.
He is married to Leah, and they have two sons, Jared and Aaron, who are also in ministry.
