Edward E. Burr is the founder and Chairman of the Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting children through prevention education.
He established the foundation in 1997, on the one-year anniversary of his late wife, Monique Burr's, death, to continue her legacy of child protection and advocacy. Monique Burr was a passionate children's advocate who founded the PALS Center and was involved with the Mayor's Commission for Children and the Children's Crisis Center.
Under Edward Burr's leadership, MBF has grown into a nationally recognized leader, providing evidence-based programs to educate children and adults on preventing bullying, digital dangers, abuse, and exploitation. Beyond his philanthropic work, Burr is also the founder, president, and CEO of GreenPointe Holdings, LLC, a diversified holding company.
