Dennis E. Pate is the former President and CEO of Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, a position he held from 2009 until his recent retirement after 47 years in zoo management.
Under his leadership, the zoo achieved record-breaking attendance, was named World's Best Zoo by Travelocity, and became the recipient of Business of the Year from the Omaha Chamber of Commerce.
