The Creative Dance Center is known locally, nationally, and internationally for innovative teaching methods and the BrainDance. In 2020-2021 all of Creative Dance Centers programming went virtual due to COVID-19. Dance classes for ages two months through adults were provided over Zoom.

Kaleidoscope Dance Company is Creative Dance Centers resident modern dance company of youth ages 7-17. Mosaic Dance Company is comprised of children ages 7-13, offering performance opportunities to Creative Dance Center students. In 2020-2021 Kaleidoscope and Mosaic activities and performances went virtual due to the pandemic.

The annual Summer Dance Institute for Teachers provides professional development and personal growth for educators, dance teachers, arts specialists, therapists, and more. This professional learning opportunity provides immersion in the teaching methods developed by CDC Founder, Anne Green Gilbert.
