Outreach and Education
NAMI Summit County provides a variety of support group meetings and education programs to assist consumers and their families cope with mental illness. NAMI Summit County has also begun a digital marketing program through various social media outlets to help spread awareness.
Housewarming
Housewarming provides new, basic household items to assist persons to live independently. During 2021, the Housewarming program provided 156 people with basic household items to assist them to live independently. The program was partially suspended during part of 2021 due to effects of COVID19.
Needy Soles
Needy Soles footwear provides shoes, socks and other footwear to those who cannot afford to buy their own. During 2021, Needy Soles provided 15 clients with new shoes, boots and socks. The program was partially suspended in 2021 due to effects of COVID19.
