Where the work happens
Teen Arts
Arts corps provided arts education to youth 13-18. Arts education for school credit was offered through a partnership with seattle public schools interagency alternative high school. Extracurricular programming was also offered. This program served approximately 260 students.
Arts Integration (creative Schools)
Arts corps worked with 10 schools in the seattle and highline school districts to provide integrated arts learning. Teaching artists work in partnership with classroom teachers to develop and implement project-based lesson plans that integrate arts with core subject areas while developing students' creative capacities.
After school visual and performing arts were offered at 9 elementary and middle schools in seattle and highline school districts with approximately 325 youth served for youth kindergarten through 8TH grade.
