Where the work happens
we brought in two horses in 2021 and an additional three in 2022 for a total of 5 in 2023. we provided assistance in locating homes for other horses in CA and helped with placement of unwanted cats and dogs through our liaison work with other rescue organizations.
we initiated training in homeopathic and other complementary therapies for improved equine health and continue to work with our horses to help them feel safe enough to be co-teachers in our programs that we hope to offer in 2026.
a two day program offered to help participants deal with trauma stress and nature deficit disorder. Healing touch with horses HeartMath and other tools were shared. We offered individual retreats with the horses and in nature. these were done for free with the option to help work on the farm as a volunteer.
